Hey there, I’m Matt! I’ve been behind the chair making people smile since 2010. As a former educator, I love sharing my knowledge and passion for hair. I’m a certified hair colorist, and certified in Bellami extensions. I’m experienced in all hair types with a focus on healthy hair.

Born and raised in Germany Brian has 20 years of experience. Brian is passioned to find the right style for his guests. Specializes in cutting and color, hand-paint/balayage/ foil techniques.

Leah was raised in New York and has been behind the chair since 2014. She specializes in Blondes and loves creating a lived-in balayage or roots to ends platinum blonde. Leah performs color services tailored to each guest's individuality while prioritizing the integrity of hair.

Born and raised in Austin Texas, Danielle has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2009. She specializes in lived in color, balayage and blonding services. Danielle also enjoys long layered cuts, bobs, fades and is certified in keratin treatments. She has worked with several products lines over the years and is constantly perfecting her craft by taking classes to keep up with trends. When Danielle is not behind the chair you can find her traveling and spending time with family and friends. Fun fact, Danielle’s first love was photography and now takes pictures of her work to showcase on social media.

Valeria is a passionate hairstylist striving to push creativity through her craft. With over a decade of experience Valeria can create modern and classic styles. New to Austin, Valeria hopes to explore and enjoy her new home.

Jackie has been with milk and honey since 2020, starting at the sola location. She loves doing long layered cuts and blondes. It makes Jackie so happy to help people in the community feel beautiful everyday.

Born and raised in Rome, Georgia. Jase started his career in 2017 after graduating from the Aveda Institute in Atlanta. He specializes in updos, styling, bridal hair, and loves to work with curly hair. When Jase is not behind the chair, you can usually find him somewhere close to the water or away on vacation in a tropical paradise.

Born and raised in South Austin and started her cosmetology career in 2014. Julia specializes with natural colors and lived in looks and soft blended layers. When Julia is not behind the chair she loves to try new restaurants with her fiance and go for walks with my 12 year old pup Marley.

Giana graduated from Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy and spent 4 years behind the chair in Fort Worth before moving to Austin. She specializes in blondes, vivids, and short cuts. When she’s not at the salon, Giana spends her time enjoying live music, crafting, and being a dog mom to her Mini Dachshund, Willow.

Presley was born in Austin and grew up right outside of the city. Outside of work you can find Presley painting, trying new restaurants , and hanging out with her dog Tito.

Hairstylist with 12+ years experience in the industry. Up to date on all current trends and techniques. Truly passionate about the ever-evolving hair industry. She is an expert in all coloring techniques including highlights, balayage, and lived in color.

Born and raised in Austin Texas, started cosmetology school in high school I specialize in blonding and lived in highlights I also love doing transformations like color blocking and vivids when I’m not behind the chair you can catch me finding the latest trendy food places in Austin

Jaymee attended the Aveda Institute in San Antonio and over the years, has continued to attend Aveda-lead training. She loves doing hair because she loves making people feel beautiful. "There is nothing like creating a new fresh look for your client and giving them a boost of confidence. I feel blessed to do what I do, I am able to let my creativeness flow as well as make people feel good. Life is so stressful — sometimes all we need is a visit to the salon," she says. You can find Jaymee at our Arboretum Market salon, and she suggests if you want to make a big change, that you bring in three pictures to discuss during your consultation.

Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. Since childhood I’ve been playing with hair on my Barbie dolls, family members and friends. Official stylist journey started in 1997.

My name is Kennedy I’ve been working at Milk and honey. I’m born and raised in Austin and have two furry babies. I love doing color services and beautiful layered cuts.

Macy loves to build a personal connection with her clients to help them find confidence in their own beautiful features by enhancing them with individually designed hair! Macy offers all color services including Highlights, Balayage, and Color Corrections. She is also an expert in all types of cutting techniques and loves working with all hair textures from fine and straight to thick and curly.

Born and raised in Houston. Sabrina started their career 2 years ago, and she specializes in balayage, fashion colors and color corrections. Sabrina loves to travel and learn about other cultures.

Sandy's love of fashion and hair began at the age of 9. While most kids her age were watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, Sandy was watching Style with Elsa Klensch and taking notes. This led her to many adventures and her career path in the hair industry. Sandy has more than 20 years experience as an award winning hairstylist on both the West Coast and Texas. Working in some of the most elite salons in San Francisco, Sandy has been trained by the best and her attention to detail is what makes her stand out. She is a well seasoned stylist, excelling in precision cutting and razor cuts, extensions, keratins, color, balayage, all blonding services and color correction. She quickly gains the trust of her clients.

Shelby was born and raised in Austin, and started her career in 2022. Shelby loves to do lived in color, all shades of red, and all sorts of haircuts. When Shelby is not behind the chair she is usually at home curled up with her 5 cats and a good book.

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler began his career in 2011. Tyler specializes in creating natural looks utilizing balayage coloring techniques on all hair lengths/types. When Tyler isn’t cresting behind the chair you’ll find him with a brush and canvas painting various pieces of art, playing piano and singing or simply enjoying time with family and friends. *Fun Fact* Tyler is one of 8 children and was raised in a musical family that traveled and performed at various events all over the USA.

Callie Started with milk + honey in 2013 at the 2nd Street location. She loves providing color and cuts that will grow out nicely. She likes to customize your hair to your desired maintenance routine. .

As a stylist, Kacy Marie loves meeting new people and making her clients feel great about themselves. Since she was little, Kacy Marie has always been fascinated by the fashion, beauty, and hair industry and knew she wanted to be involved in it. In 2010, the Dallas/Fort Worth native moved to Austin to attend The Paul Mitchell School of Austin where she began to develop her skills as well as a keen eye for style. Kacy Marie is known for color, face-framing cuts, seamless updos, and is certified in Keratin and Hotheads extensions. She is dedicated to building a trusting relationship with each and every one of her clients and is passionate about making sure you leave 100% satisfied. Kimber is a northern girl at heart but loves the southern life! She received her education at the Aveda Institute and received her cosmetology management degree. She’s been specializing in blondes for 10 years now. She prides herself in luxury, high quality, customer service. She loves to bring the California beach vibes to Houston with her blonde techniques. She specializes in healthy beachy blondes, balayage and major color corrections. She stays up to date with taking major advanced classes around the country for her color techniques. Christina began her education at Paul Mitchell in her hometown, New Orleans. She then graduated from Carsten Institute of Cosmetology in Carsten Wilms in Tempe, Arizona. From there, Christina pursued an apprenticeship in New York City at Salon AKS with celebrity colorist, Kathleen Flynn-Hui. After her apprenticeship, she worked at Vidogi Salon in Scottsdale, where she specialized in balayage, vivid creative colors, color correction, bridal hair, and makeup. Color is Christina’s passion, and she loves to create looks that complement each client’s unique personality. In her free time, she loves to explore the Houston food scene. Christina has a fur baby named Lola (a French bulldog.) According to her, nothing beats a nice evening on the couch with her boyfriend and dog watching binging the latest series or show.

Born and raised in Houston, TX. Bee first heard about milk + honey while attending the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she decided to pursue her passion for hair and immediately applied for the milk + honey apprentice program. Since completing her apprenticeship, Bee has developed her own personal style and aesthetic and is a master at blending her clients' vision with her own skillset to create beautiful, one of a kind looks. Bee loves dramatic transformations, including blonding, balayage, and long, layered cuts. In her free time, you’ll find Bee at an open mic, in a workout class, or scouring thrift shops for the perfect pair of 70s flares.

Darcy is a native of Houston, but got her training as a stylist in Orange County, California where she specialized in balayage and modern blonding techniques. She moved to Fort Lauderdale and worked for Aveda, falling in love with using organic, plant-based products. Now that she has returned to Texas, she brings her love of sun-kissed, beachy hair with her. She is also trained in all types of haircutting, a Hotheads extension expert, and certified in Keratin treatments. Darcy loves to work out and read in her spare time. One of her favorite books is The Alchemist, from which she adopts this quote as her personal mantra: “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

Libby, was raised in Houston. Libby loves the beach, has a Jack Russell/Poodle mix, and loves to take her on walks! Balayage is a hand-painting technique that typically results in "sun-kissed" style highlights. Libby looks forward to meeting you and helping you feel like your best self!

Olivia's interest in hair and styling began at age 18. For the past 7 years, she styled freelance and worked as a stylist in the Woodlands. Olivia also has experience as a product manager. She has a two year-old Frenchie named Ollie and loves all animals.

Jessie is a proud Mexican from Durango Mexico who loves making her clients feel special and powerful! She enjoys working with her coworkers — it’s the best work environment she’s ever had and it’s like her second home. In 2020, Leah was voted Best Houston Hair Stylist by the Houston Chronicle. Leah is a native Houstonian and a mom of three.

Tara Peabody comes to milk + honey with 11 years of experience. Even before graduating from Ogle School of Hair, Skin, and Nails, Tara had a passion for hair. She grew up in her parent’s salons, learning from her mother, father, and aunts. Tara specializes in coloring techniques including balayage, ombre, and particularly getting rid of those unwanted grays. She’s an experienced stylist for updos and braids, and loves working with brides and for special events. Tara has a unique experience working with older and special needs clients. She has a caring heart and a gentle touch for anybody who loves getting a little TLC. When not working Tara enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, three grown children, and extended family. Oh, and her crazy fur baby Daisy.
